Dr Andrew Henson

MB BS MRCGP DRCOG

Qualified at University College London in 1990. Andy joined the practice in 2002. He has experience in psychiatry and was involved in the Hampshire Depression Project. He has an interest in acupuncture and sports medicine. Andy is responsible for commissioning and is joint Clinical Director of the Tewkesbury, West Cheltenham, Newent and Staunton Primary Care Network.

Dr Michael Underwood

BSc MB ChB MRCGP DRCOG DCH

Qualified at the University of Liverpool 1988. Mike joined the practice in 2008 after working for 12 years as a GP near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. He is a GP trainer and also has interests in minor surgery, musculoskeletal disorders, and treatment of addiction. Mike takes the lead for IT.

Dr Susan Stenson

MB BS MRCGP DRCOG

Qualified at Kings College London in 1998. Sue joined the practice in July 2003 as a partner. Sue is interested in family planning and is involved in GP training. Sue shares joint partner responsibility for finance with Dr Harper.

Dr Helen Rees

MB BCh MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH

Qualified from Cardiff University in 2005, Helen joined the practice in 2010 after completing GP training in Wales. She has a special interest in Family Planning, being qualified to fit contraceptive implants and intra-uterine devices. Helen is the partner responsible for care homes.

Dr Jasmine Dargan

MBBS MRCGP DFSRH MRCP

Qualified at the University of Delhi in 2000. Jasmine joined the practice in May 2013. She has interests in diabetes, joint injection and family planning. Jasmine is a GP trainer. She works in the GP education team as a training programme director.

Dr Katy Harper

MB ChB MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG

Qualified at the University of Birmingham in 2007 and undertook her GP training in South Worcestershire. Katy joined the practice in 2015 as a partner having spent three years prior to this working in Worcestershire as a salaried and out of hours GP. She has interests in paediatrics, geriatrics and acute care. She shares joint partner responsibility for finance with Dr Stenson.

Dr Helen Baxter

MB ChB MRCGP DFSRH

Qualified at University of Glasgow 2006. Helen joined the practice in 2012 as a registrar and stayed on at the end of her training. She became a partner in 2016. Helen is interested in family planning and undertakes insertion of contraceptive implants. Helen shares joint partnership responsibility for staffing with Dr Bennion.

Dr Perry Zatman

BSc MB BS MRCGP FRACGP

Qualified at King’s College London in 1991. Perry joined the Practice as a Partner in April 2020. He spent a number of years working in Surgery and Radiology before becoming a GP in 2002. He has worked as a GP in South Wales, Gloucestershire and Australia where he lived for 3 years. He has an interest in men’s health, musculoskeletal disorders and minor surgery. Perry is the CQC Registered Manager for the practice. Perry is responsible for dispensary and prescribing matters.

Dr E Cottam

 MB, MEng, PhD, MRCGP

Initially worked in the field of biomedical engineering and research in Birmingham. She studied medicine at the University of Southampton in 2014, before working in Jersey for several years. Emily completed GP training in 2019 at Poole before moving to the local area and working as a locum GP. She joined the practice in January 2022 as a partner. Emily is the partner responsible for the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).

Dr Kerri Bennion

MBBCH MRCGP DRCOG

Qualified Cardiff University in 2011. Kerri completed GP training in Gloucestershire in 2016 including 1 year as a registrar at Newent. Kerri returned to join the practice as partner in May 2022. She has a keen interest in paediatrics, dermatology and palliative care and has worked in a hospice locally. Kerri is the practice lead for safeguarding of children. Kerri shares joint partnership responsibility for staffing with Dr Baxter.
